During intervals between sets Clear would interview crew, musicians etc and between interviews there would be old TV ads and shows playing. The original tapes for this concert ran a monster 2hours 41 mins. The taper turned his machine on at the start and left it running pretty much - apart from tape flips - for the rest of the show - interviews / intervals / music - even the PA broadcast of "The Star Spangled Banner" at the end. This clearly required some editing and I have tried to do the right thing for everyone. If you have never heard a full version of of a show from this tour you may wish to download the Dan Clear segments to give you some idea of his involvement - tracks 1, 12, 13, 14, 22. These have been carefully edited to remove dead time and TV ads etc - as a result the commentary and interviews run almost continuously - in reality there were often stretches in between where the audience amused themselves. However should you choose to omit tracks 1, 12, 13, 14 and 22 the rest will still form a coherent concert. From a technical point of view the only thing I did outside of this was balance channels where necessary. There is an issue during Helpless where the taper either leaves his seat or covers the mic.
